Hypnotherapy training dates and venues
Our hypnotherapy courses give you a choice of training during school hours, or at weekends. We also offer a choice of weekend venues - currently Wakefield and York - to make training as convenient for you as possible. Both cities are easily accessible from a wide area by road, and there is a good rail and bus network for those travelling on public transport.
The next courses will begin as follows:
York - weekends - starts 8/9 September 2018 and continues the second weekend of each month (excluding December) until July 2019.
Wakefield - weekends - starts 1/2 September 2018 and continues the second weekend of each month (excluding November) until July 2019.
The early bird cut-off date for both options is 4th August 2018 but note that the course is likely to be over-subscribed before that date. As of 17.7.18, the majority of places still available are in Wakefield.
Midweek training - this course will begin mid-March 2019 and continue half a day per week (term time only) until March 2020. The early bird cut-off date is 9th February 2019. Because we know that not everyone who wants to come during the week can be available every day of the week, we ask you on your enrolment form which weekdays are best for you. Once we have a viable class, we'll set the day of the class to suit as many people as possible.
Wakefield - weekends - next course starts 27/28 April 2019. This will run the fourth weekend of each month (excluding August and December) until March 2020. The early bird cut-off date is 23rd March 2019.
All our venues have B&B nearby for anyone wishing to stay overnight. Parking prices listed were checked Feb. 2018.
York - We will be at the Priory Street Centre, five minutes walk from the train station and park-and-ride stops. Pay and Display parking is available at the Centre for £7 per day, cheaper parking can often be found nearby by pre-booking via JustPark, or you can use the park and ride for £3.10. Smartcards or bulk buying tickets should enable you to pay less. Knavesmire Rd offers free parking, and is about twenty minutes' walk away.
York is well placed for those living in the North Yorkshire area and further afield; Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby and the East Coast etc. It's also easily accessible via the A1M from the North East of England; Newcastle, Durham, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, and Darlington.
Weekday training - the venue varies depending on which day of the week we decide to meet. Please ask for more inforamtion if this is important to you.
Wakefield - Weekends: for larger groups (over 4) we generally use the Training Suite at Trinity Business Park, Wakefield. This is on Denby Dale Rd, close to the City Centre, both Wakefield train stations and the free city bus route. Free parking is available for those travelling by car.
For smaller groups we use The Loft in Normanton on the outskirts of Wakefield, on J31 of the M62. The venue is close to both train and bus routes, parking is Pay and Display but reasonable (£2.90 all day on Saturdays, free on Sundays).
Wakefield itself is conveniently sited close to the M62, M1 and A1 which makes it accessible from almost any area of Northern England or the Midlands. Most of our students travel from Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Manchester, Pontefract, Castleford, Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Lincoln, although some come from further afield including Scotland and Staffordshire.
