Hypnotherapy training dates and venues
Our hypnotherapy courses give you a choice of training during school hours, or at weekends. We also offer a choice of weekend venues - currently Wakefield and York - to make training as convenient for you as possible. Both cities are easily accessible from a wide area by road, and there is a good rail and bus network for those travelling on public transport.
We run three courses per year, Wakefield weekends, York weekends, and midweek. The next courses will begin as follows:
Wakefield - weekends - next course starts 24/25 March 2018. This will run the fourth weekend of each month, ending in February 2019. The early bird cut-off date has passed but limited places remain available.
Midweek training - for 2018/19 this course will run on Fridays. It begins with a full day on 23rd March and continues half a day per week (term time only) until March 2019. Please see below. The early bird cut-off date has passed, again a limited number of places are still available.
York - weekends - starts 8/9 September 2018 and continues the second weekend of each month (excluding December) until July 2019. The early bird cut-off date is 4th August 2018.
All our venues have B&B nearby for anyone wishing to stay overnight. Parking prices listed were checked Feb. 2018.
York - We will be at the Priory Street Centre, five minutes walk from the train station and park-and-ride stops. Pay and Display parking is available at the Centre for £7 per day, cheaper parking can often be found nearby by pre-booking via JustPark, or you can use the park and ride for £3.10. Smartcards or bulk buying tickets should enable you to pay less. Knavesmire Rd offers free parking, and is about twenty minutes' walk away.
York is well placed for those living in the North Yorkshire area and further afield; Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby and the East Coast etc. It's also easily accessible via the A1M from the North East of England; Newcastle, Durham, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, and Darlington.
Weekday training - in 2018/19 we'll be using the Baptist Church in Normanton. Reasonably priced parking is available (£2.90 for all day, 90p for half days) on King Edward St (shown on the link), Normanton train station is about five minute's walk away.
Wakefield - Weekends: for larger groups (over 4) we generally use the Training Suite at Trinity Business Park, Wakefield. This is on Denby Dale Rd, close to the City Centre, both Wakefield train stations and the free city bus route. Free parking is available for those travelling by car.
For smaller groups we use The Loft in Normanton on the outskirts of Wakefield, on J31 of the M62. The venue is close to both train and bus routes, parking is Pay and Display but reasonable (£2.90 all day on Saturdays, free on Sundays).
Wakefield itself is conveniently sited close to the M62, M1 and A1 which makes it accessible from almost any area of Northern England. Most of our students travel from Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Manchester, Pontefract, Castleford, Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Lincoln, although some come from further afield including Scotland and Staffordshire.
