Hypnotherapy training dates and venues
Our hypnotherapy courses give you a choice of training during school hours, or at weekends. We also offer a choice of weekend venues - currently Wakefield and York - to make training as convenient for you as possible. Both cities are easily accessible from a wide area by road, and there is a good rail and bus network for those travelling on public transport.
We run three courses per year, Wakefield weekends, York weekends, and midweek. The next courses will begin as follows:
Wakefield - weekends - next course starts 24/25 March 2018. This will run the fourth weekend of each month, ending in February 2019. The early bird cut-off date is 17th February 2018 although classes sometimes fill before this, so don;t leave your enrolment to the last minute..
Midweek training - begins with a full day and continues half a day per week (term time only) from mid-March 2018. Please see below. The early bird cut-off date is 17th February 2018, again classes may fill before this so act sooner rather than later.
We appreciate that not everyone can attend any day of the week, so we ask you on the enrolment form to indicate which weekdays you are available. We then arrange the class on a day which suits those wishing to attend, based on enrolments received by the early bird cut-off date. We appreciate this sounds rather random, but so far it has worked very well.
York - weekends - starts 8/9 September 2018 and continues the second weekend of each month (excluding December) until July 2019. The early bird cut-off date is 4th August 2018.
All our venues have plentiful B&B nearby for anyone wishing to stay overnight.
York - due to significant (34%) price rices at our usual venue, which we do not wish to have to pass on to you, we are currently 'shopping around' for the best place to hold the course which starts in September 2018. We'll publish it here as soon as we can. Meanwhile, if you know of any suitable venues please do get in touch.
York is well placed for those living in the North Yorkshire area and further afield; Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby and the East Coast etc. It's also easily accessible via the A1M from the North East of England; Newcastle, Durham, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, and Darlington.
Weekday training - we cannot confirm any venue until after the early bird deadline because we do not know until then which day we will be meeting (see the paragraph above). Given that, we take into account the addresses and travel arrangements of those attending and choose a venue that is as central as possible. Please contact us if venue is important to you, we can give some guidelines and advice.
Wakefield - for larger groups (over 4) we generally use the Training Suite at Trinity Business Park, Wakefield. This is on Denby Dale Rd, close to the City Centre, both Wakefield train stations and the free city bus route. Free parking is available for those travelling by car.
For smaller groups we use The Loft in Normanton on the outskirts of Wakefield, on J31 of the M62. The venue is close to both train and bus routes.
Wakefield itself is conveniently sited close to the M62, M1 and A1 which makes it accessible from almost any area of Northern England. Most of our students travel from Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Manchester, Pontefract, Castleford, Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Lincoln, although some come from further afield including Scotland and Staffordshire.
