Equalities Policy

The purpose of publishing this policy is not "political correctness gone mad". It's necessary for us to have a formal equalities policy for some accreditation purposes, but it's also an opportunity to confirm that we have an active commitment to equality and fairness and that we oppose all forms of unlawful - and unfair - discrimination.

If you are thinking of becoming a therapist, or already working as one, it's more than likely that you already approach people you meet, work or learn with, in a way that's respectful, open-minded, non-judgmental and accepting of difference. That's all that this policy asks of you, and it promises that we will do the same.

We are truly committed to encouraging diversity amongst our students, tutors, supporters and staff. Our aim is that they will be representative of all sections of society so that each of them feels respected and able to give of their best.

This policy reinforces our commitment to providing equality and fairness to all.
